Dear Maggie and Brian, First of all, wish you a very Happy New Year(sorry, but I'm late for the Christmas wishes...). On Christmas for the first I went on your site and among all the applausing sweet words I caught sight of that critism. I was happy to see that you were sincere and open enough to let it be there. Then I decided to watch your reactions or silence as reaction. Then, today I found Brian's strike-back. I'd say I enjoyed reading Brian's lengthy, hearty and to-the-point argument -- from it I see a more real Brian, I mean, not just that happy voice from the radio, but a normal and sincere person, who loves what he is doing, which, sadly, is not what everybody nowadays has achieved. In this sense, you are the ones to be envied of. I've also smelt a litte bit irritation or fury between Brian's line. Take it easy; just as you mentioned, we couldn't make EVERYBODY happy -- it's absolutely impossible for anyone or for any programme to receive only positive comments. So if there is any, it in its own way, as I understand it, proves your influence and impact on the people here, or otherwise he or she wouldn't have known your homepage addr.and taken all the pains to get on it and make the comments... So, smile your lovely smiles, my friends! By the way, many listeners said that your studio is too small or too shabby while I really love your studio and your garden. I could imagine how happy life Maggie is leading there!(Maggie, I'm your fellow student but when I entered the university you already graduated -- what a pity!)I'd say working in such place couldn't be more enjoyable! (never did this before even via phone)，and it so happened that my classmate "zigzag" is now studying in UK, I want to send a special song for her, wish that she can successfully finish her all courses. So could you fulfill my "first-time" desire, I think she would like to listen the famous song "Maria, Maria" from Santana.(though it may be difficult for her to listen to the radio FM101.7) I'd appreciate you two very much! I have just listened to "Hello from English" for two times, and I feel it a pity that I haven't heard it before since your programme is so wonderful. 天啊！今天的节目真给了我一个惊喜！播放了芭芭拉史翠珊的“wuman in love”，这是我最爱的一首歌。第一次听这首歌的时候，我就泪流满面，因为当时我正在失恋的痛苦中。一直找这首歌的卡带，但怎么也没找到。要不然就是只有曲而没有歌词。很遗憾。如果MAGGIE能告诉我哪儿有卖的就好了。不管是CD。MP3还是磁带。更让我吃惊的是今天听一个大学朋友说MAGGIE就是南京的颖瑶。果真如此吗？MAGGIE？我以前在南京念大学，那时就很喜欢听“雀巢咖啡音乐时间”。到了上海不久，就发现来自英国的问候同样很不错。当时一听MAGGIE的声音就想起了颖瑶，“怎么声音那么象啊”，于是我就以为天下的英语节目的DJ就应该是这种声音。唯一的遗憾就是这个节目只有周末有，要是天天都有就好了。我想再多听到一点经典的老歌，或者是新艺人翻唱的老歌。总之，我很喜欢“来自英国的问候”！

It's so nice of the apperance of the network! I can't express my excitement when i saw your site. Though it is not so cute, i love that truth sense of life.
