Brain & Maggie Via some channel, I known that Shanghai Administration for Broadcast & Television has been restructure, so I think the situation of your and other several program maybe related with it.I noted, fortunately, the time of your program has not been replaced by some new permenont programm, it mean the hope of resuming your program still exist.Well, don't give up your struggle, it's necessiry and the must,however, we have to do it very carefully and rationally. I REALLY SUPPORT YOU！Not only for you, but also for me and millions of your ardent listeners. WHAT HAS GONE WRONG IN CHINA? As one living in Shanghai, a so-called international metropolitan, I find it difficult to find any significant trace of any real international culture. On switching on the TV or radio, you see and hear mostly, if not all, stupid, silly, fatuous, trashy chinese stories, music. They all treat the audience as some kind of imbecile. No individual is permitted to reaceived any satellite TV programmes (including non-political movies or music channels) in such a internationl city, which the authorities defend that such programmes might be subversive and politically biased. Ironically, it is true that it is far cheaper and time-saving to install a set of satellite receiving system than to go through the official scrutiny. It's also true that there're a lot of foreign films or TV series on Chinese TV, but they're all translated and voiced in chinese. So it's no wonder that Chinese people in general are at very low level of English communication with the contry's 20 years of opening to the outside world. And of course, the Broadcasting Bureau has been providing enormous money to those who voice the foreign movies, including their salary, subsidy, bonus, housing, all kinds of walfare. All these efforts prove successfully to hinder Chinese people's ability to communicate with outside world and make us insular. As a young man who wants to develop in this colorful world, not wanting be confined to this reclusive part of the world, I wish you'll be back on air soon. As a free individual who has the basic right to enjoy the music he likes, I wish you'll be back on air soon. I am sorry to hear this bad news.I couldn't believe such thing would happen in Shanghai.Those who cancelled this gorgeous radio program have made a huge mistake.And now,Dong Fang Radio is nothing but shit,cos they have missed the best program and the most brilliant men of the broadcasting station.It's a tragedy.I sincerely wish that you would come back soon,Brian and Meggie.We are on ur side!

Hello, Brian: I am so sorry to hear that bad news, although I was a new listener, I heard the programm when i back to Shanghai for my holiday, i really think it was a good programm. I think you should keep finding out the reasons. all HFM listeners need you, they addict to this programm. If the DongFang radio can consider about this, it would not do that, so trust me, evrything will be all right.

我是东方广播电&#来自英国的问候>的老听众,我是一名高二的学生,虽然平时的学习生活非常紧张,但每个星期天的早晨10点到12点,我都会坚持守在收音机旁,收听我我最爱的节目HFB,两位主持人Brian&Maggie诙谐和幽默的主持风格让我的心情得到了彻底的放松,HFB还给听众带来了最新,最棒的MUSIC,,更喜爱的Bian的口纯正英语,这档节目可以让听众在娱乐中学习英语,HFB使我对英语更加喜爱,获得了许多课本上学不到的英语知识. ?新世纪的第一个星期天到来的时候,按惯例我把收音机的指针调到了FM101.7,但听到的却不是HFB,我很失望,到后来收到了HFB给我的E-MAIL才得知HFB被停播了!原故是节目里有不好的内容,天哪!这也太冤枉HFB了,两位主持人为了能使节目正常播出曾与多方交涉,但都杳无音讯.为什么东方电台无缘无故就停播HFB,这也太不公平了! &#此,我要替HFB讨回公道!

I listened to your programme from the very beginning,when I was an elementary school student. I had thought that it would last forever. I love HFB. I've listened HFB for more than 4 years and it really brings a lot of happiness and fun, and of course, a lot of good music. I Love Maggie and Brian, they are great hosts. There will be no happiness if I can not hear them.
